The Ashford Estate
637 Province Line Road, Allentown, NJ 08501
The Ashford Estate is located in the farmlands of Monmouth County, NJ. When driving down a quiet part of Province Line Road in Allentown, you will come upon a gate guarded by two stone lions. This gate will take you down a tree-lined driveway to the 30-acre estate. The main buildings include a dairy barn, main house, and the ballroom. A lake, several gazebos, and courtyards surround the buildings providing areas for capturing wedding portraits. Your images will have so much variety with so many locations.
The dairy barn is the original building on the property. It is typically used as a chapel for your wedding ceremony. The sliding barn doors extend up past the loft area. Inside, the exposed wood beams can be lined with candles to create a warm, romantic feel for day which translates beautifully photographs. It is the perfect spot for those looking for something rustic.
The main house has a conservatory, library, salon, and 12 guest suites for up to 26 people. Each guest suite has a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The salon provides a location for you and your bridal party to have hair and makeup done on-site. The conservatory and library are the cocktail hour spaces. The library makes a great indoor space for group photos.
After cocktail hour, your guests will take a short walk between buildings to the grand ballroom. With twenty feet of windows along the back wall providing breathtaking panoramic views of the farmlands, you will dance the night away on the marble dance floor with up to 275 of your closest friends. Optional uplighting is provided by Fennelli Design—this extra touch provides depth to the room for your reception and enhances your photographs. Dinner is provided by the excellent staff of Merrimakers catering. They are the exclusive caterers for the estate.
